| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Exams you create: name, subject, date, number of questions, marking scheme and answer key | To print the OMR sheet and mark scanned sheets |
| Scanned sheets: the student's roll number (class, division, roll), the answers read from the sheet, and a straightened photo of the sheet | To show marks, the merit list and question analysis, and to let you check and correct a reading |
| Settings: school name, auto-capture on/off | Printed on sheets and reports |
This data is kept in the app's private storage. We never receive it. The app does not use Android cloud backup, so it is not copied to Google either.
The camera is used only while you are on the scanning screen, to find and photograph an answer sheet. The photo is processed on your phone. If you pick a photo from your gallery instead, Android's photo picker gives the app only the one photo you choose. Photos are never uploaded.
When you share an OMR sheet, an Excel file, a PDF report or a report card, or export a backup file, the file goes only where you choose (for example a printer, WhatsApp, Gmail, Google Drive or your phone's storage). Once shared, it is handled by that app or service under its own privacy policy.
The app is meant for teachers and school staff. It records students only by roll number and the marks they get; it does not ask for students' names, photos of faces, or contact details. Teachers are responsible for handling results according to their school's rules.
The app is not directed at children and is intended for use by adults (teachers). It collects no personal information from anyone.
Because all data is on your phone, you are in full control:
We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing for us to delete on our side.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the effective date above.
